We are still locking in a shooting location, but there is a good chance we will shoot this in Denver the weekend of Sept. 11th and 12th. Acting experience is not necessary. Having the right look and attitude is the most important. Your character would be outspoken and aggressive. There are no lines to memorize, it is all improv style and little or no sound from the actual scene is used. No Way Back is a semi-pro part-time act focused on the songs/music/fans first. It's about entertainment & a high-quality show performed by dedicated musicians who live to rock! It's 90% covers, a few originals, mostly 90's -present era music, ala STP, Candlebox, Collective Soul, Foo Fighters,etc.. and with a few select Classic Rock tunes as well. We have the initial lead/rhythm guitar, bassist, and lead vocals in place & need the right drummer to get off the ground. Potential for second guitar and/or keys later.
Initially, expect 2x per week rehearsals, monthly or more frequent gigging when it makes sense; bars & dives of course, then move to include theatres & local/regional travel as possible as we progress.

I'm seeking something melodically deep, flowing, with some implied Melisma style. I'm really talented with manipulating vocals and making separate layers with your voice, and doing tons of studio tricks for spatialization and making it rich and beautiful, but sick at the same time.
