We want "low" maintenance personalities in our group. We are a fun bunch and don't want the drama. We are VERY kid friendly but if there are lots of restraints in your schedule due to work or child care issues, this won't be the group for you.
We meet every Thursday night from 6-9. We have our own equipment and you would need to have an equivalent to a shure 58 mic, cord and round bottom stand in order to be in the group. IF you have a cordless equivalent to a Shure, a few of us in the group do as well and that is fine! You have to be able to read music but we don't expect you to be an expert in this. We have a great repertoire of music to include: rock, folk, do-wop, contemporary, a little country, world music and a little Broadway music as well.

Room 175 is the first room to the left as you enter from the North side of the building.
The story is about a mentally ill man recovering from an attempted suicide after a falling out with his wife. While in the hospital the real world becomes blurred with the nightmare-world of his damaged psyche. Through love, he wrestles with his inner demons to break back into reality and reconnect with his concerned wife.
The filming will be in the middle of March.
As a student production we can't pay though you will be taken care of on set with free food, etc. Also the crew are some of the best creative minds I've worked with and we're looking forward to making a lot of noise on the festival circuit!

02-01-12 - Denver, CO>Grand Junction, CO - Looking for actors for my short thesis film Love's a Dump. I'm looking for real talented and committed actors, ready to shoot for the first 3 weekends in March, who can really get into character and roll with it, improv. is a plus.
The story is a dark comedy, set in New Orleans, centering around the deteriorating relationships of a man over the course of a day. Peter is a cynical man who loves the ladies. After a one-night stand, a friend from some time ago arrives into town and meets Peter for breakfast but by the time he returns home, he discovers a heart crushing surprise.
