We have some gigs lined up, and had to cancel a few because we don't have a drummer. We are a group of college students (Ages 19 and up) we would like to find someone around our age, doesn't matter if you are younger or older as long as you can play we don't judge, someone around the ages 17-24 would be perfect though.
Here is what Really matters:
-Must be able to keep a steady beat ( Keeping the beat steady and consistent is the most important job of any drummer)
-Provide practice space, not because we are trying to leech off of you, it's just more practical for everyone. Sometimes when we couldn't play at the drummer's house we would gladly help him move his stuff to one of our houses.
-Show up, as simple as that.
If you have a and speakers that is a HUGE plus, also if you can do backing vocals so we can have some pretty awesome harmonies, but that's not necessary.
We have about 32 songs, and we are starting a few originals, and we need to add some songs still. Everyone has a say on whatever we play, we all have professional equipment (half stacks, pedals, etc).
Whatever you do on your own time is your own business, we don't judge unless it interferes with the band.

I am a bassist/vocalist with 35+ yrs experience seeking versatile, dedicated pro-minded musicians in the PBC area (I’m in Delray) that are interested in a classic rock/commercial rock cover band project I'm forming. My influences and styles are listed below.
ABOUT ME: I have a full PA and rehearsal space. I can handle most of the lead vocals. Big plus if you can share the lead vocal duties, backing and harmony vocals are a bigger plus as I’d like to have tight harmonies where needed. I want to find passionate practiced players that will learn from the CD’s (I’ll supply) and don’t mind working on the songs until they are right. If you’re in it for a paycheck or to be playing in a week or four, look somewhere else. I would like to find a keyboard player (maybe that doubles on guitar?). Want to gig locally or semi-locally, mainly only weekends (I have a family, a business AND a day job).
ABOUT YOU: Serious inquiries and serious players. Must be professional minded, know your instrument, have own equipment and transportation, be willing and able to learn your parts and rehearse regularly (once or twice a week). Stable with no substance issues. Must have good attitude and play (get along) well with others. Must not expect to be gigging by next week. Must not be expecting to do originals (I have no interest in that) and be the “next big thing”, this project is mostly for fun and to make a few bucks too while still being as PRO as weekend warriors can be. Those seeking an immediate paycheck should look somewhere else. Not looking for perfection as much as the right fit. Talent, motivation and drive go a long way, over-inflated egos not so much, no matter how talented.
