No previous acting experience is necessary. Any ethnicity is welcome to submit.
'The Odd Life of Timothy Green' is based on an idea by Ahmet Zappa, who is an actor-writer-producer and son of the legendary musician Frank Zappa. Ahmet Zappa is a principal at Disney-based Monsterfoot Productions and also runs Kingdom Comics, the studio's graphic novel publishing unit. Zappa has a first-look deal at Disney, where he is producing the fantasy film 'The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless,' based on his own novel, in addition to 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green.' Ahmet now has his own staff and offices where he develops story concepts based off the Disney library as well as scouts new talent.
Academy Award nominated writer/director Peter Hedges will direct the film. Hedges shared the Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay Oscar nomination with Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz for the film 'About a Boy.'
Shooting on The Odd Life of Timothy Green is scheduled to begin shooting in Minnesota in October, 2010.

We would like to stress that this is a NON PAYING gig. This will be our first independent film and we are really excited to begin production, but we are in need of talented actresses!
Darin and Will are a very small just starting independent film company called Insight Productions. The film is called Drifter in the Dark and is a suspense thriller about a college girl who gets abducted by a traveling serial killer. We will be shooting with a Canon XL2 and will mostly be on location at the Mall of America and surrounding suburbs. Both Darin and Will have had five years experience in filming and editing and are self tought. We are both twenty years old and go to Brown College in Mendota heights. We are planning on starting shooting in between late September to mid October depending on when we complete our cast. The film should not take too long to shoot as the estimated length is a half hour.
We are really excited to begin production, but we are in need of talented actresses! We will be looking for these parts:
Christies Mom: Very caring, nice, loving
Christie: Our main character. She is in the popular social group in college but she feels like she doesnt quite belong. Needs to be kind of shorter and hast to have a good scream and talented acting skills. Crying would be great.
Kim: Carefree fun loving best friend of Christie. They work together at Victoria's Secret. Shes kind of bitchy, but caring at the same time. Taller then Christie.
Amanda: Friend of Chrisite and Kim. Very slutty, caddy, loves to gossip. This is a smaller part, but still very important.

Bands needed at upcoming Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes event. Event is a walk/run event to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
Event Date: Saturday, September 25 @ General Mills World Headquarters in Golden Valley.
We are looking for bands to play at our rest stops. Times would be from 9:00am-10:30am. Electricity at these rest stops is not available.
This is a pro-bono event however, logos/band names can be featured in Day of Event program and on event website. Opportunity to distribute information to participants as well.

5 Piece Band Seeks Keyboard-MN - 810661
09-01-10 - Minneapolis, MN>Rapid City, SD - Need a keyboardist with the ability to cover funk, soul, rnb, reggae and disco.
We need musicians with the chops to make a 5 piece band sound like a ten piece. Some of the music will be bigger than the band can you rise to the occasion?
Singing is a plus but not necessary. Once a week rehearsals until songs are mastered after that flexible as needed rehearsals.
