We primarily play 60s - 80s but also reach back into the 50s or up to today's music depedning on the client's needs. We are strictly a private event/festival band. We don't play bars although we have made exceptions for places like Whiskey Jack's and The Boiler Roon in Sun Valley. We are looking for a sax player that can join our group on a more of a regualr basis than the player we have now. Our trumpet player charts out a lot of the songs and always plays with us when the horn section is in play. Our sax player is good but not always available. We can't keep anyone busy full time at the moment so don't ask members to turn down other gigs. However, some circumstances have occured that could get us considerably busier in the coming months and we would like to find someone that could morph into a permanent player so that the horn section can develop the tightness we would like. We do have a really nice gig coming up in Feb. Because we are asking the rythm section of the band to give up money so that the horns can play, although it does pay, it is not a lot. The role you will play is of a woman who is trapped in a zombie apocalypse, and she's blogging her experience via video uploads to YouTube. We're looking for a very strong leading lady who is not afraid of a bit of blood and gore. Must be athletic and in shape for this role as you'll spend a lot of time avoiding zombies and moving around.
