Learning the material with practice outside the rehearsal hall, helping with the set up and tear down of equipment and generally performing while the show is going on. Our current lead guiarist is competent when he plays, but lacks in all the aforementioned areas. We are not trying to make it to the big time, but are definately on our way to being a widely recognized unit in the East Tennessee area. We have always been rebooked after playing a venue. We have gigs booked into May and will start booking shows for the summer later this month. We need a mature ( not neccesarily by age) guitarist who can learn material, incorporate their own flair and style into the music, work to the crowd and knows that a little work is neccesary to put on a show. World tour gear isn't neccesary, we have PA etc., you just need you guitar(s), amp and do have some plans for original material, but are currently working a mix of country, rock and have several reworkings of popular songs that puts our spin on them. We know it will be tough to meld into a group while still learning material, but a good musician can do that and most likely some of our material you will already know. Everything would probably start winding down as far as reception photos at around 10 or 11. It is an outside wedding, so we would be getting some beautiful pictures with fantastic lighting. The reception, is going to be in a large cabin (we are not sure where yet). Please send us an email with some of your work. Our budget is very thin. But if you could include in your email to us what you would charge. We encourage the idea that we want to grow your portfolio and this would be a BEAUTIFUL video. As a matter of fact, we are also willing to help you in the future with whatever you may need for future video products. Also, I am a great marketer and my husband is a trim carpenter!! Of course that would happen after the wedding. We would want to own all recording. We are open to your edition to the final product especially if we like your work OR we could just have all the video taken and we will create our own. Again, as we ourselves are artists, we understand growing your portfolio and understand giving a little to gain a little! We are an attractive couple who are open to a lot of ideas! To paint a bit more of this celebration you would be videoing.... We will both be wearing white (my husband will be in linen type pants and a fantastically fitted shirt) and I will be in a beautiful flowing gown of some sort (yet to find). Our ceremony will consist of a dance (me for my husband and God), then us singing our vows together as one, combining some beautiful sand, of course some extravagant kiss (cause we are just extravagant people), and of course my husband carrying me away (because he is insistent on it :). All this will be at either a beautiful mountain top with the view of the mountains in spring, or by a waterfall... this is still to be determined. The reception will be an open type party with food out for all to munch on. We will move all the furniture back in the cabin to create a dance space for people to dance in.
