Band Seeks Guitar Player-Olympia - 697448

We have vocals, electric guitar, bass, and drums. Everyone sings and we do a lot of back-up vocals and harmonies. We play a variety of music with the theme "Where Rock Meets Country". Our set list includes songs from Bon Jovi, Journey, ZZ Top, Guns and Roses to Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, and Lady Antebelum. We learn the songs in our own home and practice a couple times of month to tighten things up with the band. We have all professional gear, and are seasoned players and expect the same. We enjoy having a few beers while playing but no hard drinking and zero drugs allowed. If making money is high on your list of priorities then please do not contact us. We plan on making a little money along the way, but being in a pro sounding band and having a great time is what we are after. Our first gig is in mid March but we wil just go with the line-up that we have now until a second guitar player is brought up to speed. We are practicing in Sandy right now because we have a free space there but would like to find a place in Portland. We do all originals. We have been together for over a year and have played some accomplishing shows such as the Oregon State Fair, the Hawthorne Theatre, Club Satyricon and more. Our music has been heard on Portland radio staion 101 KUFO and also in Seattle. We play hard rock type of music. We've been told we sound like Seether, Nickelback, and Breaking Benjamin. The guitarist should have his own equipment. We play somewhat loud for practice and shows so having the equiptment power is important. -- Project Type: 1
